UFC 238 will take place in Chicago next month, and the pay-per-view event just added an exciting lightweight bout between division contenders Donald Cerrone and Tony Ferguson.
ESPN’s Brett Okamoto announced on twitter the promotions intentions of matching up ‘Cowboy Cerrone and ‘El Cucuy’.
Donald Cerrone was recently seen in action in the main event of last UFC event in Ottawa, where he got a dominant decision victory over Al Iaquinta.
Interim, Tony Ferguson will return to action for the first time after UFC 229 event, where he defeated Anthony Pettis via TKO.
After dealing with some personal issues Tony Ferguson recently received “go” from officials for his return to fighting.
Tony Ferguson is currently on an impressive 12 fight win streak.
UFC 238 takes place on 8th June, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event’s main card features bantamweight title fight between current flyweight champion Henry Cejudo and Marlon Moraes for the vacant 135 pound belt, after TJ Dilashaw forfeit the title due to failed drug test results found by USADA.
