“He’s very unorthodox, but not a very high-level striker, I don’t think” says Cowboy Cerrone speaking of Tony Ferguson

In an interview with MMA Junkie recently, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone expressed his thoughts on his future opponent Tony ‘El Cucuy’ Ferguson, saying he thinks he has all the tools to get his arm raised at UFC 238 on June 8.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I watched him fight Lando (Vannata) my buddy. I know what kind of opponent I’m against. He’s tough as (expletive), he’s very unorthodox, but not a very high-level striker, I don’t think. He’s just high volume. We’ll be all right.”

“I don’t even think UFC needs to say that, because this would be it. There would be nobody else. I beat Tony; I get the title (shot). There’s no one else in line.”
