During his retrospect on UFC 285, Jon Jones made critical comments aimed at both Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormier

Jon Jones made comments about his longtime rival Daniel Cormier and former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who Jones believed had previously tried to negotiate his way out of fighting him. Jones returned to the octagon last Saturday, defeating Ciryl Gane to win the UFC heavyweight title. He later took to Twitter to reflect on his victory and respond to fans’ questions. When asked about the possibility of a fight between Jones and Ngannou, Jones expressed doubt, citing Ngannou’s previous demands and departure from the UFC. Jones also commented on Cormier’s reaction to his victory, remarking that Cormier couldn’t even pretend to smile and was unable to identify the submission that ended the fight. Despite targeting a matchup with Stipe Miocic in July, Jones remains uninterested in fighting Ngannou.
