According to his coach, Jon Jones’ victory at UFC 285 was the most dominant performance throughout his championship career.

Jon Jones is a UFC Hall of Famer and considered the greatest light heavyweight fighter of all time.

He has achieved numerous records, including becoming the youngest UFC champion at the age of 23 and being the first fighter to reach the 15-0 mark in UFC title bouts.

Jones recently won the heavyweight strap at UFC 285, making him only the third person in history to win titles in both the 205-pound and heavyweight divisions.

However, his victory presented new challenges for his team, as he was coming off the longest layoff of his career, debuting in a new weight class, and without the help of his longtime coach Mike Winkeljohn due to a strained relationship following Jones’ 2021 arrest on domestic violence charges.

Despite these challenges, Jones’ team was able to overcome them, and his striking coach Brandon Gibson believes that Jones’ move to heavyweight will motivate him even more, leading to a strong run in his new weight class.
