A UFC event scheduled for June 3 will feature a bout between Kai Kara-France and Amir Albazi

At the upcoming UFC Fight Night event on June 3, flyweights Kai Kara-France and Amir Albazi are scheduled to fight, although the location for the event is yet to be determined.

The match was confirmed by sources familiar with the promotion’s plans and also announced by Albazi on social media.

Kara-France will be returning to the octagon for the first time since losing an interim title fight to Brandon Moreno at UFC 277 in July 2022, which broke his three-fight win streak.

He was supposed to make his comeback in February, but a knee injury prevented him from fighting at UFC 284 in Australia.

In his attempt to bounce back, Kara-France will face Albazi, who holds an undefeated record of 4-0 in the UFC with three finishes, including a third-round knockout of Alessandro Costa in his most recent bout.

The fight between Kara-France and Albazi will be part of the lineup for the UFC card on June 3, which will also feature a bout between former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate and Mayra Bueno Silva. The main event for the event has yet to be announced.
