Markus Perez claims he’s earning triple the amount from Gamebred Boxing compared to UFC.

Professional fighter Markus Perez has participated in seven UFC matches between 2017 and 2021, and has faced off against notable opponents such as Eryk Anders and Dricus Du Plessis. Perez is set to compete in a boxing match against Joe Riggs as a part of Gamebred Boxing, which is offering the fighter a lucrative sum for his participation. Although he was originally scheduled to fight Paul Daley, who later cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, “Diesel” Riggs has since stepped in as a replacement. Perez has revealed that he is earning three times the amount he was paid for his UFC matches as part of the Gamebred Boxing event.

The accomplished boxer, who has previously won back-to-back matches in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), is looking to make a career shift to boxing, despite experiencing some difficulty finding MMA opponents. According to Perez, 14-16 fighters withdrew from fights in the past 12 months. While the fighter plans to compete in the MMA cage again in the future, he sees this match as an exciting opportunity to test himself in another sport and make some money while doing so. Perez is a competitive fighter who is determined to win and set himself up for more promising opportunities in the future.

Perez has disclosed that Gamebred Boxing 4 will include high-profile matchups such as Roy Jones Jr. vs. Anthony Pettis, Jose Aldo vs. Jeremy Stephens, and Vitor Belfort vs. Ronaldo Souza, all of which have appealed to Perez. He has even offered himself up as a potential stand-by fighter for Belfort or “Jacare” if either combatant is unable to attend their scheduled match. As Perez is motivated to succeed in the world of sports, it will be worth keeping an eye on his progress as he continues to participate in future matches.
