Matt Brown believes Israel Adesanya can conquer his fear by defeating Alex Pereira, but it’s a make-or-break moment for his legacy

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira have a storied history, with each of their three past fights ending in dramatic fashion, leaving Adesanya looking for revenge at UFC 287 knowing that his legacy as a fighter is on the line.

UFC welterweight fighter Matt Brown believes that this fight is the most important fight of Adesanya’s career, as a loss will drastically alter his legacy. Brown believes that Adesanya is mentally strong and should continue to focus on his strengths, but be prepared to keep his focus throughout the fight to avoid getting caught by Pereira.

While Pereira has an undefeated record against Adesanya, Brown believes that Adesanya’s mental strength puts him in the best position to win and secure a trilogy match, but only if he stays focused throughout the fight.
