Israel Adesanya elaborates on his belief in defeating Alex Pereira, stating that he remains triumphant until he fails

This weekend at UFC 287, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira will face off in their fourth career collision, but this time in an MMA rematch. The previous kickboxing matches saw Pereira come out victorious each time, but Adesanya hopes to change that this weekend.

While their third installment at UFC 281 had promised to answer some important questions, it ultimately ended in a TKO stoppage for Pereira in the fifth round. Nonetheless, Adesanya is confident in his abilities and views the rematch as a challenge that he loves to rise to.

Even though Pereira became only the second man to beat Adesanya in MMA and the first to do it at middleweight, Adesanya knows exactly what he needs to do to come out on top. He doesn’t care about the fans or the odds; he only needs his team and his values to remind people of how great he truly is.
