The UFC Kansas City weigh-in saw Max Holloway and Arnold Allen successfully make weight for their significant featherweight main event while one fighter failed to meet the weight requirements

This weekend’s UFC Kansas City event sees an exciting battle between two top-ranked featherweights, former champ Max Holloway and rising star Arnold Allen, with the winner possibly earning a shot at the title. Both fighters successfully made weight during Friday’s official weigh-ins and are set to face off in the headlining bout.

Notably, this marks Holloway’s 25th appearance at featherweight, matching the UFC record for the most appearances held by Darren Elkins. Meanwhile, Allen is seeking his 11th straight UFC victory and hopes to secure his first championship opportunity.

However, bantamweight fighter Joselyne Edwards missed weight by 0.5 pounds, raising questions about whether her bout with Lucie Pudilova will proceed and what percentage of her purse will be forfeited as a result.
