The UFC 288 main card has seen some changes this week, as two fighters have been switched out due to injuries. However, one of the fighters requiring a new opponent has now been matched with someone of higher rank.
Fans can now look forward to an exciting featherweight main card fight between Movsar Evloev and Bryce Mitchell during the upcoming May 6 pay-per-view event in Newark, N.J. The card will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight featuring the reigning champion, Aljamain Sterling, and former two-division champion, Henry Cejudo.
Meanwhile, an undisclosed injury has taken Charles Oliveira out of his scheduled co-main event fight with Beneil Dariush. In its place, former champion Jessica Andrade will go up against Yan Xiaonan, taking on the co-headlining spot.
The reorganization doesn’t end there, though, with a lightweight bout between Drew Dober and Matt Frevola now being promoted to the main card. It will join the pay-per-view opener between Charles Jourdain and Kron Gracie, who is making his return to the octagon.
