Beneil Dariush has been experiencing some setbacks regarding his upcoming fight against Charles Oliveira. Originally scheduled as the co-main event at UFC 288 on May 6, Oliveira withdrew due to an injury. According to Dariush, this isn’t the first time that the fight has fallen through, and building frustration stems from his negotiations with the UFC.
UFC has agreed to a guaranteed plan to rebook the fight at UFC 289 on June 10 in Vancouver with some insurance in case Oliveira pulls out for a third time. Dariush believes that activity is necessary for his developing career, and he has aspirations to make title eliminations even if it isn’t with Oliveira.
Dustin Poirier is a particular fighter that interests him. Despite his plans, Dariush knows that not everything always goes as planned in the MMA world.
