The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) 41 event was held on the night of Saturday, July 24, at the 1stBank Center in Bloomfield, Colorado. BKFC 41 featured a star-studded lineup that featured several top names from the UFC and Bellator.
In the main event of BKFC 41, Mike Perry squared off against former UFC champion Luke Rockhold in a light heavyweight title match. Throughout the fight, Perry channeled his striking ability to torment Rockhold -from the first round right down to the opening minutes of the second round. Eventually, Rockhold retired in between the second-round, marking a TKO win for Perry.
Rounding off the card was another battle between two ex-UFC fighters; Eddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes, who were competing in their debut appearance for the BKFC event. Alvarez and Mendes competed tooth and nail, resulting in a split decision victory in favor of Alvarez.
Other notable matches included Christine Ferea defeating Bec Rawlings, while Ben Rothwell conquered Josh Copeland. Chris Camozzi and Brandon Girtz also won their fights against opponents Daniel Spohn and Christian Torres, respectively.
On the preliminary card, Marcus Edwards defeated Jay Jackson, Dillon Winemiller knocked out Matthew Maestas early in the first round, and Mitch Seybold defeated Jack Willoughby in the first few seconds of the fight. The match between Khortni Kamyron and Gabrielle Roman ended in a majority draw after a closely contested fight.
All in all, BKFC 41 was an electric event filled with intense matchups and remarkable performances from world-class combatants.
