Arman Tsarukyan and Joaquim Silva scheduled to compete at UFC on June 17

Arman Tsarukyan’s next opponent in the UFC has been announced, and it’s not who most fans would have expected. Tsarukyan will be facing off against Joaquim Silva at the upcoming UFC Fight Night on June 17. The event is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, the matchup has already been confirmed.

Initially, Tsarukyan was scheduled to headline UFC Vegas 72 in April, but unfortunately, his opponent Renato Moicano had to withdraw due to an injury. The good news is that the No. 10 ranked lightweight fighter was able to quickly bounce back from his loss to Mateusz Gamrot with a victory over Damir Ismagulov in December at UFC Vegas 66.

Joaquim Silva, on the other hand, had been away from the octagon for almost 16 months before he made a successful comeback in October 2021 at UFC Vegas 61. He managed to snap a two-fight losing streak by earning a jumping knee knockout victory over Jesse Ronson.

The UFC’s event on June 17 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier. As the anticipation for the event grows, it will be intriguing to see how Tsarukyan and Silva perform against each other.
