The upcoming UFC London show at the O2 Arena on July 22 is set to be a highly anticipated event with top-ranked bantamweights, Ketlen Vieira and Pannie Kianzad, going head to head. The promotion has already announced the date but has yet to reveal the headlining attraction for the Fight Night card. However, the Vieira-Kianzad bout alone promises to bring in the crowds.
With a record of 13-3, Vieira is prepared to take on the challenge of attempting to climb back up the 135-pound mountain. Despite losing a decision to Raquel Pennington, Vieira has already made her mark on the UFC with previous victories over former titleholders Holly Holm and Miesha Tate. Needless to say, Vieira has the experience, skill, and determination to bring her A-game to the octagon come fight night.
On the other side of the ring is Pannie Kianzad, a force to be reckoned with who is coming off a win over Lina Lansberg. Born in Iran but fighting out of Sweden, Kianzad has won five of her past six fights under the UFC banner, including former title contenders Bethe Correia and Alexis Davis.
Kianzad’s impressive record and versatile fighting style make her a strong contender against Vieira. Overall, this bout promises to be an exciting fight with both fighters bringing their all to the octagon.
