Following his impressive knockout of Drew Dober at UFC 288, Matt Frevola has called out Paddy Pimblett and the Liverpool superstar has answered. However, Pimblett is currently sidelined due to ankle surgery, making a fight against Frevola unlikely until Pimblett has fully recovered. Despite this, Pimblett responded to Frevola’s callout on social media, stating he is willing to fight him once he is back and calling it “the easiest route into the top 15”.
Frevola has no problem waiting for the fight, particularly if it means it could take place close to his Long Island home at Madison Square Garden. While Frevola is confident in his chances against Pimblett, he believes they would put on an entertaining fight no matter how it plays out, and is excited at the prospect of testing himself against one of the UFC’s most talked-about fighters.
