Boxer Tyson Fury hits back at Joe Rogan for selecting Jon Jones over him in an imaginary match

Tyson Fury boldly claimed that he would emerge victorious if he were to engage in a fantasy fight against Jon Jones. Fury was responding to comments made by well-known UFC commentator and podcast host, Joe Rogan, who suggested that Jones would defeat Fury if the two were locked in a room together.

Fury was quick to address Rogan’s comments, calling him a “little f midget” and stating that no man born from a mother could beat him in a one-on-one fight. Fury even went as far as tagging Rogan on his Instagram story, ensuring that the commentator didn’t miss his response.

Rogan had initially made his comments during a discussion with comedian Andrew Schultz in which he suggested that, although Fury was an amazing boxer, he would have no chance against Jones and the threat of his takedown move. Rogan even stated that he would bet on Jones to win in such a scenario, adding that Fury would need to catch his opponent with a single punch to have any chance of winning.

Fury has recently expressed interest in a potential fight against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, and even faced off against the fighter in the ring following his recent victory over Dillian Whyte. However, the matchup seems to have lost momentum and a potential unifier with Oleksandr Usyk is yet to materialize.

Despite this, Fury has reportedly expressed his desire to sign a 10-fight contract and has called on his promoter Frank Warren to help him secure a fight. Jones, meanwhile, is expected to defend his title against ex-champ Stipe Miocic in the future, though no firm date has been set by the UFC.
