Combat sports enthusiasts may have found this weekend to be a tad on the leisurely side, however, Taiyilake Nueraji managed to captivate viewers with his awe-inspiring performance at the Road to UFC event on Saturday.
The climax of the match arrived in the second round amidst a heated exchange of punches between Nueraji and his opponent, Han Seul Kim. The fighters seemed to share an equable proximity to one another, hurling punches and maintaining the same distance. Nueraji then retreated briefly, executing a few push kicks in the process; however, he almost immediately plunged himself back into the battle with a fearsome elbow strike.
The blow hurdled towards an unsuspecting Kim, delivering a crushing blow and sending him plummeting face first to the carpet. The referee rapidly declared the match over. Nueraji sprung atop the cage, letting out a resounding bellow to celebrate his knockout, which was nothing short of breathtaking. This win pushed Nueraji to 9-1 in his career with all wins to his name through knockouts; this marks Nueraji’s third fight continuing into the second round.
