Conor-McGregor

Conor McGregor made an appearance at BKFC 41 and UFC did not object

Observing Conor McGregor’s appearance at BKFC 41, many expected the UFC to reprimand him for co-promoting with a competitor. However, McGregor himself claims that he has faced no backlash from the UFC, stating that it remains the leader in the industry, with nothing above or beyond it. Despite the free publicity given to a distant competitor, UFC President Dana White reiterated this point and gave his blessings to McGregor.

If not under contract, McGregor revealed that he would be more than happy to fight in bare-knuckle combat, as the chance of any bout ending up as a boring fight is zero. McGregor participated in a staredown with headliner Mike Perry, which he admits could have gone either way but was ultimately a respectful encounter. During the same event, McGregor showed respect to both co-headliners Eddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes, offering his insight into their fighting styles and abilities.
