Bellator Dublin to host much-awaited match between Aaron Pico and Pedro Carvalho

Bellator, the professional MMA league, has announced that Aaron Pico and Pedro Carvalho, two of their top-ranked featherweight fighters, will be going head to head at their upcoming Dublin show on Sept. 23. The event will be taking place at Ireland’s 3Arena and the eyes of the MMA world will be fixed firmly on the highly anticipated showdown.

Despite suffering a defeat to Jeremy Kennedy in 2022 due to a shoulder injury, Pico has bounced back with a decision victory over James Gonzalez in April, and he will be looking to extend his winning record further at the forthcoming event. Prior to suffering his defeat, Pico had won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Carvalho, originally from Portugal, will be looking to secure a win after his defeat to Kennedy in Dublin earlier this year. Three of Carvalho’s last four fights have taken place near to his MMA team SBG, with him winning the other two against Mads Burnell and Daniel Weichel.

The Dublin event will also see Fabian Edwards from Birmingham challenge Johnny Eblen for the middleweight title in the main event. Here’s a look at the full updated lineup so far:
