Ben Askren discloses motive behind accepting boxing bout against Jake Paul and offers his forecast for Nate Diaz matchup

Ben Askren had initially hoped to be the one to end Jake Paul’s boxing career, which began in January 2020 as a celebrity or freakshow stint. However, Paul went on to knock out his fellow influencer Ali Eson Gib and former NBA player Nate Robinson, as well as former MMA champions, starting with Askren.

Despite being one of the best wrestlers in the sport during his 22-fight MMA career, Askren’s skills were exposed in his final two combat sports appearances opposite Demian Maia in the octagon and Paul in the ring.

Paul will next face another UFC veteran, Nate Diaz, Askren predicts he will come out on top and has no doubt Mcgregor and Paul would make everyone a lot of money in a high-profile affair if McGregor is willing and able to take his second career boxing match against Paul.
