Stefan-Struve

Retired UFC fighter Stefan Struve is thriving, imparting commentary and engaging in matchmaking endeavors with Titan FC

Stefan Struve, the retired MMA fighter, has spoken about his contemplation of a return to the ring following his loss against Tai Tuivasa at UFC 254. Struve admitted that he had considered a comeback previously, but that continuing to train after his Prague fight in 2019 had made the difference. After his last fight, Struve barely trained and, given his longstanding symptoms of vertigo, he decided that retirement was ultimately better for his long-term health.

Struve has remained active in the sport through commentary, interviewed other fighters at major events and called fights as part of a broadcast team, alongside part-time matchmaking with Titan FC. Struve finds his commentary roles enjoyable despite the challenges of critical analysis and attempts to be objective whilst aware that some fighters may get offended by comments about their performances. Despite not owning his own gym, he still teaches a couple of hours a week, and has found a new outlet for his passion for the sport.
