MMA fighter-turned-boxer, Greg Hardy, experienced a challenging evening recently in his Team Combat League match held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. The former UFC star was knocked out during the penultimate round as he represented the Dallas Enforcers.
Footage of the fight shows Hardy being dropped twice prior to Alexander Flores taking him out for good, less than a minute after his apparent attempt to rally. This defeat represents Hardy’s first in the Team Combat League and brings his record in the competition to 2-1.
On the bright side, Hardy was up against a fierce competitor, Flores, who boasts an impressive 18-3-1 record in professional boxing, far exceeding Hardy’s experience and expertise in the boxing ring as he had only previously won two bouts. Hardy left the UFC last year after a difficult run, which saw him lose three consecutive fights.
