Jim-Miller-against-Jesse-Butler

Jim Miller secured a brutal 23-second knockout victory against Jesse Butler at UFC Vegas 74

UFC fighter Jim Miller was able to defeat Jesse Butler with a 23-second knockout during a match at UFC Vegas 74. His win extended his record-breaking number of victories in the history of the sport to 25. Despite fighting Butler, who took the fight on just two days’ notice, Miller’s extensive experience was clear as he quickly took control of the match.

Even though Butler was aggressive, Miller’s response was more powerful and precise. Miller was able to push Butler back into the cage before releasing a powerful left hook which connected perfectly with Butler’s chin. Miller’s next move was to throw a left uppercut that sent Butler to the ground in a matter of seconds.

Butler was able to recover consciousness a few minutes after the incident and was able to leave the octagon on his own. Miller expressed his appreciation that Butler took the fight on short notice and also commented that he felt he was dangerous when in form.

The win becomes Miller’s fastest record as a knockout in his career, overtaking his previous record of a 58-second submission he achieved against Clay Guida in 2019. Miller expressed his desire to continue fighting and hopefully reach UFC 300 in the future. He also expressed that he aims to continue fighting regularly as he draws towards his career’s close.
