Daniel Cormier denies Jim Miller a spot in the UFC Hall of Fame, stating that longevity alone is not enough to warrant induction

Former two-division champ and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier has expressed his belief that Jim Miller is not currently deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame, despite his impressive resume and recent victory. While Miller has set a number of UFC records, including most lightweight division wins and finishes, Cormier argued that time served alone should not guarantee inclusion in the prestigious group.

Comparing the situation to a long-serving NFL lineman, he reiterated that accomplishments must be taken into account. Despite this, Miller remains a popular and respected figure in the sport and many, including analyst Clark, believe he warrants a place in the Hall of Fame, especially given the UFC’s relatively new status and variety of entry paths.
