Jake Paul has responded to the request of his opponent, Nate Diaz, to increase the number of rounds for their upcoming bout on August 5th in Dallas. Diaz, known for his extraordinary conditioning, has asked for the fight to shift from eight to ten rounds, a request that Paul is more than happy to accept. The additional rounds will be the first time that Paul has been scheduled for a ten-round fight during his boxing career.

During his 25-minute showdown with future UFC welterweight champion, Leon Edwards in 2021, Diaz nearly scored a late finish in the fifth and final round despite losing the majority of the fight up to that point.
