Jasmine Jasudavicius explains her reasons for targeting Casey O’Neill

After her recent win against Miranda Maverick in Canada, Jasmine Jasudavicius is on the lookout for her next opponent. Though hesitant to call anyone out, Jasudavicius has a couple of names in mind: Maycee Barber and Casey O’Neill.

Jasudavicius coaches have advised the potential opponents, and while Barber is coming off four successive wins, including a recent victory over Andrea Lee, O’Neill has been on Jasudavicius’s list ever since O’Neill put a yawn emoji on a post of her fight. In O’Neill’s upcoming fight against Viviane Araujo at UFC 293, she may not be an immediate option for Jasudavicius.

Jasudavicius is keen to get back into work and take on either Barber or O’Neill as she’s looking to grow on her top career win against Maverick and continue her winning streak. Her most recent fight was in Vancouver, and she plans to be active and book something in the near future, hoping for another fight in 10 weeks.

This past Saturday, Canadian fighters went undefeated with a 5-0 win record in UFC 289, and Jasudavicius hopes that this success continues later this year. Her ultimate ambition is to participate in any Canada-based cards as she continues to climb up the UFC rankings.

While the UFC wanted to come to Toronto earlier, they had to cancel due to a schedule conflict with NHL playoffs. However, there’s a possibility again that Toronto might be the next venue.
