Esquiva Falcao expressed his negative experience while sparring with Nate Diaz, comparing it to death

Esquiva Falcao, the unbeaten middleweight boxer and 2012 Olympic silver medalist, revealed that he shared the ring with MMA veteran Nate Diaz in a recent sparring session. However, Falcao was far from impressed by Diaz’s skills, and he felt that Diaz quickly became fatigued during their 12-round spar. In fact, Falcao questioned whether Diaz would even be able to last the full 10 rounds in his upcoming boxing debut against Jake Paul.

Despite Diaz’s apparent exhaustion and poor form, however, Falcao was pleased with the opportunity to spar against him and happy to be the big guy in the gym who took on the challenge. Diaz’s fight against Paul is set to take place on August 5th, and the two have decided to extend the originally agreed upon eight rounds to ten rounds.

Diaz is set to fight at 185 pounds, despite having spent his UFC career at lightweight and welterweight, and has not fought since leaving his UFC contract in September 2022 after grappling Tony Ferguson into submission.
