Renowned heavyweight fighter Mariusz Pudzianowski may have suffered consecutive knockout losses in KSW’s Colosseum 2 and be feeling down but KSW President Martin Lewandowski is confident the legendary 46-year-old will continue his career. Despite impressive first-round results against pro boxer Artur Szpilka, Pudzianowski was defeated in the second round.
Lewandowski dismissed any speculation about retirement, stating that Pudzianowski’s career will continue. Lewandowski highlighted Pudzianowski’s significant connection to KSW and his five World’s Strongest Man titles record as reasons why the fighter will stay.
Lewandowski also referred to the promotions’ financial incentives and the significant loyalty shared between the top names in the field including Mamed Khalidov and Michal Materla. Both fighters also received offers from other promotions but found more appealing deals with KSW. Despite some losses, Lewandowski feels that Pudzianowski knows that he has not said his last word.
