Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier meet weight requirements for main event at UFC Vegas 75

Middleweight Standouts Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier Ready to Rumble at UFC Vegas 75. Two of the biggest names in the middleweight division, Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier, are set to clash at the highly anticipated UFC Vegas 75 event.

The talented Vettori rebounded from a unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker by beating Roman Dolidze at UFC 286. On the other hand, Cannonier recovered from his unsuccessful bid to dethrone middleweight king Israel Adesanya at UFC 276 by snatching a split nod over Sean Strickland at the end of last year.

The co-main event will be just as exciting, with top lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan weighing in at 155.5 lbs for his clash with Joaquim Silva, who also weighed in at 155.5 lbs.

Meanwhile, all 24 fighters on the card managed to successfully make weight. While there were a couple of late cancellations, with Miles Johns vs. Raoni Barcelos and Zhalgas Zhumagulov vs. Felipe Bunes being axed, the spectacle still looked set to be breathtaking.

Barcelos still showed up to the weigh-ins and surprisingly stepped on the scale at 136 pounds. While there may be a few potential reasons for his actions, including securing his show money, he could also serve as backup for the two remaining bantamweight encounters on the roster.
