The UFC Paris card on Sept. 2 will be headlined by Ciryl Gane vs. Serghei Spivac

Ciryl Gane has been given the exciting opportunity to headline the upcoming UFC Paris event, which is only the second of its kind, and he is set to go up against Serghei Spivac in the main event on September 2nd. This announcement was recently made by UFC officials who are extremely excited about the prospects for this event.

It’s worth noting that Gane also headlined the first-ever UFC Paris event which took place last September and competed against Tai Tuivasa, their fight was a real spectacle and ended with Gane delivering a third-round knockout, which resulted in him receiving the “Fight of the Night” award.

Following this exceptional victory, Gane went on to compete in the vacant UFC heavyweight title. Unfortunately, he suffered a memorable loss to Jon Jones at UFC 285 in March. But, he’s optimistic and eager to continue pursuing his championship dreams, and that’s exactly what he’ll be doing when he steps back into the octagon this coming September.

Opposing Gane in this highly anticipated main event is Serghei Spivac, a 28-year-old fighter from Moldova who has been putting up some impressive performances in recent months, including a submission win over another heavy hitter, Derrick Lewis, in his last bout which took place in February.

In addition to this win, Spivac has some other remarkable achievements to his name; some of his famous and noteworthy victories include defeating the likes of Greg Hardy, Augusto Sakai, and Aleksei Oleinik.

The UFC is hoping to make a real statement with their return to Paris, and they are hoping that this will be an annual event if it goes off without a hitch. It’s exciting to see some of the best fighters in the world competing in this fantastic city, and the audience will undoubtedly be eager to see how this event turns out. With the coming together of two top-notch heavyweight fighters like Gane and Spivac, we’re sure to see a fantastic event!
