Carlos Hernandez put on an impressive performance at UFC Vegas 75, dominating Denys Bondar for almost 15 minutes before executing a takedown that left Bondar worse for wear. Hernandez then finished off the bout with a series of punishing elbows that battered his opponent, causing referee Jerin Valel to call an end to the contest with only one second remaining.
This marks Hernandez’s second win in three UFC fights, having previously suffered a first-round submission loss to Allan Nascimento. As for Bondar, he falls to 0-2 in his UFC career, with a 16-month layoff between his appearances in the octagon.
