The summer run continues with UFC action every weekend until late September, and this week’s event is UFC Jacksonville featuring a critical featherweight match between top-10 fighters Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria. Before that, we have 13 other fights to enjoy, so let’s dive into the ones worth betting on.
First up is Neil Magny, favored at -170, in a fight against Phil Rowe – Magny’s clone, as Rowe and he have similar body types and fighting styles, but Magny is just better at everything. Magny has a superior clinch fighting, offensive wrestling, grappling, and a far better gas tank that doesn’t bode well for Rowe.
Next, we have Austen Lane at +150, a former defensive end for Jacksonville Jaguars drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. The All-American football player out of Murray State has amassed 55 tackles for loss in his career, which makes Lane a great bet to win against Justin Tafa in UFC Jacksonville.
For prop bets, we have Brendan Allen by Submission, +175, who has shown a great run of form with a wealth of experience. Allen is continuously improving, as seen in his recent win against Andre Muniz, and could potentially become a great substitute for Bruno Silva, who has been submitted six times in his career.
As for our parlay of the week, we have the RB Parlay with Amanda Ribas/Maycee Barber Over 2.5 Rounds, -215, and Randy Brown at -225. Ribas and Barber are both durable fighters, and this fight is expected to go long. In contrast, Brown is a very dangerous striker against Turman, who has twice had his clock cleaned inside the UFC.
Finally, our longshot bet of the week is Josh Emmett by KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1, +1400. Topuria will likely win this fight, but we could see a battle between his recklessness and Emmett’s monstrous power.
