The payout for the PFL 6 card this past Friday night in Atlanta was hefty, with five fighters earning six-figure salaries, according to the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment commission. The promotion featured the finalization of the 2023 playoffs in the lightweight and welterweight divisions.
The top earner was Olivier Aubin-Mercier, who pocketed $100,000 for his knockout victory against Anthony Romero, which secured his place in the playoffs. With an undefeated record of 8-0 under his belt in the PFL roster, he is a formidable opponent for any challenger.
Sadibou Sy also took home a significant sum of $100,000 for his spectacular knockout of Shane Mitchell with a spinning wheel kick, securing his place in the playoffs as well. Sy won the 2022 PFL welterweight title and could go on to repeat his feat this year.
While Shane Burgos didn’t make the initial playoff roster due to his loss, he ultimately earned $100,000 for his victory against Yamato Nishikawa. The PFL reevaluated Burgos’ performance and reinstated him into the final four playoffs spots, replacing Natan Schulte, who was suspended for a substandard performance against longtime friend and teammate Raush Manfio.
Interestingly, Schulte still earned $100,000 for his win over Manfio, despite being suspended from the playoffs. The commission has confirmed that the result in that fight will stand, regardless of the PFL’s decisions. Schulte may face no additional penalties for his performance.
Finally, Magomed Magomedkerimov also earned a huge payout of $100,000 for his victory over David Zawada, which secured his place in the 2023 playoffs at welterweight.
The complete salary list for the PFL 6 event is as follows:
