Mike Swick, veteran of The Ultimate Fighter 1, has overcome Stage 4 lymphoblastic lymphoma cancer

After battling Stage 4 lymphoblastic lymphoma cancer for a year, UFC veteran Mike Swick announced on Wednesday that he is cancer-free. In an Instagram post showcasing his physical transformation, Swick credited his positive mindset for helping him overcome the disease. Although the five-year survival rate for the cancer ranges between 60 and 70 percent, Swick is optimistic about the future, acknowledging that he still has a ways to go but emphasizing that he will be more prepared and ready for whatever comes his way. The owner of AKA Thailand in Phuket and Ultimate Fighter 1 vet expressed his gratitude towards his supporters, stating that he can at least always say that he kicked cancer’s ass.
