According to Jon Jones, Francis Ngannou used every possible demand to back out of a potential UFC fight.

Jon Jones is claiming that Francis Ngannou intentionally made unrealistic demands in order to be released from the UFC and avoid fighting him. After Ngannou became the heavyweight champion, negotiations for a fight against Jones stalled and Ngannou was eventually released due to his demands, which included better health insurance and higher pay for lower-end fighters.

Jones has been critical of Ngannou since then, even calling him a “p***y,” and stating that Ngannou did not believe in himself and was not willing to take the opportunity to fight Jones. Jones believes that Ngannou’s demands were unreasonable and that he intentionally found a way out of the fight.
