Francis Ngannou is negotiating a boxing match with Deontay Wilder instead of returning to UFC to fight Jon Jones.

The fight is planned to take place in Africa, potentially as part of a two-fight series. Ngannou revealed that they have come to a verbal agreement for the fight and are eyeing August next year for the second fight.

The former UFC champion sees boxing as a new challenge and is not afraid to take it on.
