On July 22, the UFC’s upcoming event in London will see Tom Aspinall make his highly anticipated comeback to the octagon, where he’ll have the opportunity to headline another card in his home country by going up against Marcin Tybura in the main event.
The matchup was announced by UFC president Dana White on Wednesday. As a long-time heavyweight prospect, Aspinall’s previous fight ended in disappointment when he tore his ACL just 15 seconds into his main event bout with Curtis Blaydes at another UFC London event in July 2022.
Now, almost precisely one year later, Aspinall will have another chance to compete for heavyweight gold, as he returns to the octagon in a five-round main event.
