Korean Zombie demolishing Renato Moicano – how it all unfolded

Chan Sung Jung, popularly called ‘Korean Zombie’ made a good mark upon returning from the mandatory military service in his native South Korea as he stops Renato Moicano on Saturday night.

In what was clearly a featherweight contest between perennial division contenders, the Jung-Moicano contest made the headlines at the UFC Greenville event.

Jung, who has won 14 of his 19 mixed martial fight went into the fight on the heel of a brutal second round knockout loss to Yair Rodriguez at UFC Denver. That loss was consequent to a fine first round knockout victory over Dennis Bermudez.

The First round saw the Korean Zombie throw a left punch then another low kick, missing the left before connecting with his right hand. That landed on Moicano and then dropped him down before Jung rushed over to ground him down with an array of massive pounds.

On his part, Moicano went into the bout on the back of a deserved TKO loss to MMA legend Jose Aldo. That was Moicano’s most recent fight and that took place at February’s UFC Fight Night event in Fortaleza.
